From Cecil Murphey’s Visit to ATS LIVE (Giveaway Cont’d)

New York Times best-selling author and international speaker CECIL (CEC) MURPHEY has written or co-written more than a hundred books, including the runaway bestseller 90 Minutes in Heaven (with Don Piper) and Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story (with Dr. Ben Carson). His books have sold millions of copies, have been translated into more than 40 languages, and have brought hope and encouragement to countless people around the world.

After reading his latest book, Making Sense When Life Doesn’t, and interviewing him on my radio show ATS LIVE this past Monday, I understand both his success and his personal appeal. What a charming man! (You can hear that show podcast on my website.) Obviously, audience reaction to Cecil mirrored mine because listener feedback has been strong. So…surprise! I’ve contacted Cecil’s publicist on your behalf and I’m happy to announce that I have THREE more books to giveaway and yes, these are in addition to the ones drawn Monday. Those are in the mail to the winners already. The contest will run throughout the week. To enter:

1. Subscribe to this blog.

2. Like the All Things Southern Facebook Page.

3. Leave a comment.

That’s it! The winner will be drawn Saturday. Good luck!

Hugs, Shellie

Would love to win the book, especially since my life isn’t making a lot of sense right now…..

I had the chance to meet Cec in June. He’s such a humble man. Not afraid to state where God has taken him, whether it’s the Ben Carson journey or Don Piper one or writing for the NFL player, Shaun Alexander (he’s also written with and for BJ Thomas, Dr. Michael Youssef, Dino and others.) He’s also not afraid to tell people Who God is and what He’s done for him.

He mentioned on the show that he doesn’t speak “Christianese” which resonated with my heart. In my experiences with teaching, I’ve see the tilted heads, the furrowed brows of those who don’t speak “church” so I’ve had to step back and translate. You can know that any of these books point to the Creator, to the Savior, to the One who loves us completely — yet they are also written in a way that someone who has never stepped in a church or never heard “responded to the invitation” or “got saved” will be blessed to read.

I’m already a huge fan, Shellie, follow you here and Facebook and Twitter. This is one of Cec’s books I don’t have, so winning would be cool!
Wanna trade one of these for a copy of “Knowing God, Knowing Myself”? I have an extra… =)

Subscribed-yes. Like your Face(book)-yup. Comment? Heck, I can always talk. 🙂
Well, heavenly daze, Miss Shellie, that was too easy.

Wouldn’t it be nice if everything made sense. Thanks for a chance to win and find out how that can happen.
