Cookie Monster Squares

Hello folks and welcome back to the All Things Southern kitchen. It’s hard to believe its back to school time already. My summer has literally flown by! Poor kids— seems like it gets earlier every year.  I thought I’d show y’all how to whip up a batch of my Cookie Monster Squares for those little learners. Let’s get cooking!

“Cookie Monster Squares”

1 stick butter, melted
1 and ½ cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup flaked coconut
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

We can whip this dish up in seven easy delicious layers. First, we’ll pour a stick of melted butter in a 9×13 pan. Then we’ll sprinkle a cup and half of graham cracker crumbs on the butter. That’s two! We’ll follow this with a layer of chocolate chips and a layer of white chocolate chips. That was three and four. Our fifth layer will be a cup of chopped pecans and the sixth a cup of flaked coconut.  For the seventh layer, we’ll pour a can of sweetened condensed milk over it all and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool and cut into squares— enjoy my Cookie Monster Squares, y’all! They’re delicious from the All Things Southern kitchen to yours!

Hugs, Shellie
